Day 1: Arrival in Beijing

  • Morning/Noon: Arrive in Beijing. Transfer to your hotel and check-in.
  • Afternoon: Rest and explore the area around your hotel.
  • Evening: Stroll through Wangfujing Street for some local street food and shopping.

Day 2: Beijing City Highlights

  • Morning: Visit the Forbidden City, a grand imperial palace complex with rich history and stunning architecture.
  • Lunch: Traditional Chinese lunch at a local restaurant.
  • Afternoon: Explore Tiananmen Square and visit the Temple of Heaven, where emperors once prayed for good harvests.
  • Evening: Enjoy a Peking Duck dinner, a Beijing specialty.

Day 3: Great Wall of China & Summer Palace

  • Morning: Take a half-day trip to the Great Wall of China (Mutianyu or Badaling section). Walk along the ancient ramparts and soak in the breathtaking views.

  • Morning: Check out of your hotel and transfer to the airport or train station for your flight/high-speed train to Xi'an.

  • Evening: Visit the bustling Muslim Quarter for dinner and explore the lively markets.

Day 5: Terracotta Warriors & Ancient Xi'an

  • Morning: Tour the Terracotta Army, where thousands of life-sized statues guard the tomb of Emperor Qin Shi Huang.
  • Lunch: Enjoy a local lunch included in the tour.
  • Afternoon: Visit Xi'an City Wall, one of the oldest and most well-preserved city walls in China. Optionally, take a bike ride along the top of the wall.
  • Evening: Return to your hotel and relax or explore the city at night.

Day 6: Travel to Shanghai

  • Morning: Check out of your hotel and transfer to the airport or train station for your flight/high-speed train to Shanghai.
  • Afternoon: Arrive in Shanghai, transfer to your hotel, and check in.
  • Evening: Visit the Bund, Shanghai’s historic waterfront district, and enjoy the views of the city’s modern skyline. Dinner in a restaurant with river views.

Day 7: Shanghai City Tour
